Weekend in Paris

What a lucky little girl Hollis was to get to go to Paris for her 3 month birthday.
Paris had been on our list of places we must visit so we decided at the last minute to use our Marriott points and take a weekend trip.

Hollis was a little angel again on the flight.

Friday night after checking into the hotel we quickly changed and went to dinner at La Cave Lanrezac .
We had a wonderful dinner with steak, French wine, and chocolate cake for dessert. We called it a night after dinner and went back to the hotel to tuck the little peanut into bed.

How funny is the crib they made up for her?

MH all ready to hit the streets of Paris.

We started out the day with a walking tour that Zann found on Trip Advisor. It was a great tour past some of the not as well known sights and through many beautiful neighborhoods.

First stop was the Moulin Rouge.

Then the home that Van Gogh lived in while in Paris.

Hollis looked like such a big girl riding around in her new travel stroller.

The tour ended at the Sacre Coeur.
Not all attractions in Paris are stroller friends.

Zann enjoying lunch French style with a glass of wine and Hollis pouting because she didn't get any.

After lunch we walked down the Champs Elysees and Hollis had her first look into the Louis Vuitton store.

After a nap at the hotel we went for dinner at Cafe Constant  which Liz D recommended. The food was fantastic and the apple torte was even better!

Cutie Pie all ready for her last day in Paris.

Sunday we did a lot of walking. We started going to see the Arc de Triomphe up close then took the train over to the Notre Dame area.

From Notre Dame we walked to the Eiffel Tower. Hollis wore herself out while we were trying to eat lunch so she slept through her first look at the Eiffel Tower.

Then it was back off to Switzerland.
