We had a great long weekend! We started off the birthday weekend going out to dinner for the first time since we have been here. We went to an Italian restaurant that my boss recommended and it was great! Saturday we had a lazy day watching football and the US Open. We got out of the house for a while and walked to the store by my school and bought fondue!! We were very ready for that after a 5 mile walk. Sunday we went to the ExPat Expo which had tons of vendors with information for newcomers to Switzerland. We tasted some yummy wine, cake, and cheese and found some trips we would like to take. Afterwards we went to the lake for the afternoon with our friends Mike and Milene since it turned into a nice day. We need to enjoy the nice weather while it lasts!! We will be snowed in before we know it.
